The Friends of BAM

Since 2009, enthusiasts, MBC transport, craftsmen, producers, restaurateurs and winegrowers along the railroad lines of Bière-Apples-Morges (BAM) and Apples-L'Isle, are grouped within the association BAM - La Voie des Sens.

Join the Friends of BAM

Within the framework of the association, the sympathetic members are grouped within the Friends of BAM. By joining, you support the activities of La Voie des Sens and the BAM historical train.

By your contribution, you become a precious and indispensable partner by participating in the financing of activities and events around La Voie des Sens and the historical train.

You can commit yourself as a volunteer, ensuring the accompaniment, the information, during the outings of the historical train, by sharing your passion and your knowledge of the region.

Thanks to your annual contribution and your donations, you contribute to the survival of the historical heritage that the retro train represents and to the development of the offers of outings made on board. The BAM La Voie des Sens represents a particular attachment for its members and the region but also a strong point for tourism in Lake Geneva.

The renovation

Started in early 2019, the renovation of the historic BCFe 4/4 locomotive made in 1943 stretched over most of the year 2020. The task was to bring the vehicle up to current railway technology standards while also restoring its former appearance.
