Cave Jean-Daniel Coeytaux
In the village of Yens, the Coeytaux family offers a tasting of a wide range of wines in its authentic cellar dating back to 1597!
Spread over six hectares of vines, the winery owned by Jean-Daniel et Sylvie Coeytaux makes the famous chasselas as well as a dozen other “grand cru” vintages. Jean-Daniel Coeytaux took over the family business in 1995. Together with his wife Sylvie, he is responsible for winemaking and cellaring the domain’s vintages. From the grapevine to the sale of bottles, every stage is carried out right on site.
Old barrels transformed into delightful tables adorn the cellar with its stone walls and exposed beams. The family welcomes visitors to a wine tasting every Saturday morning or by appointment. Private tasting sessions are also available on request.
